The Bay Creek area in the vicinity of Cape Charles offers miles of waterfront environment along the Chesapeake Bay and adjacent creeks.  The beach, wetlands and wooded areas offer amazing opportunities for nature lovers and photographers.

In the Spring, there are several active fox dens located out in the dunes on the Chesapeake Bay.   Around sunset, the kits apparently get tired of their den, and come out to check out the world and the adjacent surroundings.  They put on quite a show for the quiet observer .. :-)
